HammrBack, operated by Walker Labs LLC, provides AI-powered missed call text-back, lead management, and automated follow-up services for home service contractors.
You must provide accurate information during signup. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Subscription fees are billed monthly via Stripe. A 14-day free trial is included with signup. You may cancel at any time from the app or by contacting support.
You may not use HammrBack to send spam, harass individuals, or violate any applicable laws including TCPA regulations.
Walker Labs LLC d/b/a HammrBack is the SMS messaging service identifier and holds all SMS opt-in consent records on this platform. Contractors who subscribe to HammrBack are platform customers; HammrBack delivers SMS messages on their behalf to homeowners who initiate contact with the contractor.
Categories of messages: Missed-call response, conversational service intake following the homeowner-initiated call, appointment confirmations and reminders, payment reminders for outstanding invoices, and review requests after job completion. HammrBack does not send promotional or marketing messages on behalf of contractors, and contractors agree not to use the service for unsolicited promotional content.
Consent model: Homeowners opt in to receive SMS messages by placing an inbound voice call to a contractor's HammrBack-assigned business number. The customer-initiated call is the opt-in trigger; consent extends to subsequent transactional follow-ups related to the resulting service relationship. Consent is logged by Walker Labs LLC d/b/a HammrBack (timestamp, originating phone number, contractor recipient) and persists per homeowner phone number per contractor until the homeowner replies STOP. Contractors agree not to message individuals who have not initiated contact via inbound call, and to honor STOP requests immediately.
Opt-out: Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Opt-outs are processed in real time and apply to all future messages from that contractor's number. Recipients can reply HELP or INFO at any time for support information.
Message frequency varies based on the activity of each job. Message and data rates may apply per the recipient's mobile carrier plan.
TCPA compliance: Contractors are solely responsible for ensuring all communications sent through HammrBack comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA messaging guidelines, carrier requirements, and applicable state law. Misuse of the platform — including messaging without proper consent — is grounds for immediate account termination.
HammrBack is provided "as is." We are not responsible for missed calls, failed messages, or business losses arising from the use of our service.
